2 BR Log-Sided Cabin 3.75 Miles From Cable, Wisconsin
Imagine yourself minutes from world class Nordic skiing at Telemark Resort and the Birkie Trail, minutes from world class mountain biking on hundreds of miles of marked trails (many technical and single track) and minutes from the Namekagon River kayak/canoeing landing and fabulous fly fishing. Bikers, skiers, kayakers – this furnished 2 BR cabin could be all you need in a recreation getaway! Built in 2009, the cabin’s 912 sq. ft. of living space is quite manageable for those who play hard and want to relax at the end of the day. The layout includes a 17×11 living room combined with the 9×9 kitchen and 9×8 dining area. There is a full bath and 2 main level bedrooms that measure 10×10 and 10×8. An open stairway leads to the 14×8 loft that can be used as extra sleeping space. Conveniently located next to the Wilde River Association (WRA) indoor pool, tennis courts and lodge meeting hall, the annual $170 WRA membership fee includes use of these facilities as well as the WRA guest campground.
The cabin’s north woods style design with half-log siding, new roof (2012)and deck entry outside and pine plank floors and knotty pine walls inside blend well with its 0.8-acre, wooded setting in Wilde River, a planned recreation neighborhood 3.75 mi. from Cable, WI. Bound together with plenty of green space, Wilde River’s layout accents the beauty of the area. Fiddler’s Creek (aka. Fivemile Creek) flows behind this cabin through a green, wooded strip shared by all residents of Wilde River. Fiddler’s Creek enters the Namekagon River about ¼ mi. to the west of the cabin.
